The columbia river has one off the biggest salmon and steelhead runs in the pacific northwest so that makes the klickitat a prime target.Take the beautiful scenic terrain and awesome fishing and that makes the klickitat one of the best rivers in the state.The Klickitat river steelhead are known for double back flips and being extremely hard fighters and the salmon are known for showing up in large numbers and reaching 50lbs and bigger.
