We just wanted to take a moment to shoutout the Knightstown Wayne Township Fire Department.
Yesterday afternoon, while assisting with traffic control during a vehicle fire, Chief Davis had the opportunity to witness firsthand the incredible work performed by our firefighters.
From the moment they arrived on scene, their professionalism, teamwork, and dedication were on full display. They worked quickly and efficiently to bring the situation under control, helping keep everyone involved safe and minimizing further damage.
What makes this even more remarkable is that these men and women do it all as volunteers. They leave their families, jobs, and personal commitments whenever the call comes in, ready to serve our community without hesitation.
Knightstown is truly fortunate to have such a dedicated group of individuals protecting our town. Their commitment often happens behind the scenes, but yesterday served as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices they make and the vital role they play in keeping our community safe.
