Today is my last day as Executive Director of the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, and I just want to say one thing — Thank You.

Thank you to the Knoxville community for allowing me the privilege to serve these past two years. Whether we always agreed or not, we found ways to work together — and together, we made both the Chamber and our town stronger than they were when I started.

To the businesses, volunteers, leaders, and neighbors who supported our efforts, challenged me to grow, and believed in the vision for Knoxville — I’m forever grateful.

Hi friends... this is a tough post to write, but we felt we owed you an explanation for our inconsistent schedule.

1. We are very sorry. We know every company is built on the trust it holds with its customers, and we HATE closing for that reason.

2. We are dealing with fairly sever health issues. Since the first of April, we have had countless to the ER and several hospital stays. To be fully open, we've had two miscarriages in three months, and there have been more complications with them (and a lot of pain and doctor's visits). Not an exciting time.

3. Employees... Currently we do not make enough money to give employees as many hours as they would deserve. That means, when we're out of commission, so is the store. BUT, we're getting closer and closer every month to be able to hire more help. (Shout out to Anna, our current favorite employee)

4. We love you all.

The Iowa Whitetail Bucks semi-pro football team is officially making Ken Locke Stadium their permanent home starting June 2025 — and we couldn’t be more excited! 🙌

The Bucks, part of the Universal Extreme Football League (UXFL) North Division, are made up of local talent from Marion County and the surrounding area. These athletes are passionate about the game and ready to bring hard-hitting football action back to Knoxville! 💥

🏈 Home Debut Game: Saturday, June 14
🕓 Gates open at 4:00 PM | 🏟️ Kickoff at 5:00 PM
