Practice is still on for today...looks like the rain is going to clear out after 10ish and those are experienced jumpers anyway who jump in the rain at events so that will be good practice.

I know, I know! The June practice is scheduled on May 30th, but first, it's close enough, and second, we wanted to do it before our June event, but this was the closest time we could schedule it with Ultimutt!

Our first May practice is full for beginners and experienced is almost full so if you wanted to get a little more practice in before Legends and New Leashes...here's your chance!

Good news! We are excited to announce where the new event to replace Smoky Mountain Dog Fest will be! It will be the same weekend (June 13-14, 2026) as the previous event that had to be cancelled.

If you have registered already, everything has transferred and don't need to do anything if you want to still compete at this event. If you have registered and don't wish to attend, you will need to contact DockDogs (Linda Torson) directly.

We are teaming up with Smoky Mountain K9 Sports to have a club event at their amazing facility and we are so gracious for the opportunity to have an event at a place that we all hold so dear to us!

The Dunn's have been touched by all of the recent legends who have passed recently (especially from cancer) that brought us all together and want to get us all together and welcome those new leashes as well, but also raise money for Chase Away K9 Cancer and The B.A.A.R.K. Foundation, Inc.. Any profit from the event will be split between the two organizations.

We will still have our annual awards ceremony right after EV. We we are going to need our SMDD community to show up for this and help run the event. We will have admin and a DockDogs crew member come out so the Dunn's can really enjoy the event and the community and not have to worry about much!

We will be forming a planning/volunteer committee soon so standby for more information and if you already know you want to help and be on that planning committee, let us know in the comments below. We are planning on getting a few vendors as well as food trucks to stop by for lunches. After many wonderful years, we're sad to announce that Summer on Broadway will no longer be held. We're deeply grateful to everyone who made this event special—the vendors, performers, volunteers, and all of you who came out year after year to celebrate our downtown community. Thank you for the memories and for your incredible support. You've been amazing. ❤️
