It’s been awhile since I’ve been on social media really at all, though I’ve never felt like social media was an over used problem for me, I know it for a lot of people. I felt I didn’t want to be a part of getting lost in this virtual world. But what I’ve found has been quite the opposite in my absence. I actually have felt more disconnected from the the many people across mostly North America that I’ve connected with over the years, as if I’ve not been a part of this online web of interconnectivity and have lost touch. What an interesting and unexpected state of mind to find from the ever present and often spiral of social media. Hmmm. Has anyone else experienced this?

A little thing they call first place! Super fun first enduro race here at our local jump/flow trails @ Baker Creek. First time racing since like 2008, 40-49 expert class, pretty stoked.

We spent over a week in Virginia while heading north on our road trip, and this state has so much to offer. On top of this beautiful, long hike we got a day of climbing in, slept next to a gorgeous mountain lake, beach day, a weekend with family and a couple days with friends in a cool city. This road trip has been a bit interrupted by handling changes in our businesses and wedding planning, but we make a good team and can’t complain about dealing with these things while traveling to beautiful places. Onward, up the east coast. 🤸‍♂️
