WARNING: If you are booking your own cruises/vacations , BEWARE! This is a true story from a travel advisor that I know personally. She safeguarded her client's interests.
I have had two clients in the past week reach out to the cruise line they are booked on, only to find out that they were being scammed. Two different cruise lines. Clients Googled the customer service 800 number. They were told they owed more money and that their booking was canceled, and they were now on standby; they had to pay the money to maybe have a chance to get back on the ship. These people were also rude and approached with a bully-like demeanor. This is CRAZY! I was able to call for both of them and verify that the booking was intact and no additional funds were required. With all of the cyber crimes out there, travel is being targeted in a BIG way! Use a travel agent/advisor (often it doesn't cost you a penny more, and lots of times, I can save you money). Your experience will be so much better. No scares from scammers and NO LOST MONEY & RESERVATIONS.

I have just returned from an AmaWaterways Tulip Time cruise in Holland and Belgium. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful it was. Every stop included a choice of tours at no extra fee. Some days, we even had 2 tours in one day. There are even hikes and bike tours included in the choices.
