I don't mean to shout, but PLAN FOR A NON THEME PARK DAY WHEN YOU BOOK YOUR WALT DISNEY WORLD VACATION! Don't get me wrong, the theme parks are second to none, but friends, there is so much to be said for taking a break to be "lazy" and enjoying your resort. Every resort hotel has a list of activities posted for the entire week that offers something for everyone (pool games, art and crafts, trivia, etc). Dine on property and explore! You could stumble upon an arcade, caricature artist, giant game of Twister, who knows. If you really feel like venturing out, WDW has two miniature golf courses. The point is, no schedule, no return times, no breaking a sweat to get from point A to point B "in time."

Trust me, your body will thank you for the break and if you're struggling to fit it in the budget, a split-stay could make a longer stay possible. Let's chat!

A question I often get from my guests is "what's included in EPCOT's International Food & Wine Festival?" While actual food and wine is available for purchase at booths throughout the park, one thing included with your EPCOT park admission is the Eat to the Beat concert series. During this festival, the American Gardens Theater is host to
popular music acts that play 20-30 minute sets a few times a day Fridays thru Mondays (with local acts performing Tues-Thurs).

If there is an act you are just dying to see, the best way to guarantee a seat is to book an Eat to the Beat Dining Package. I've helped many guests secure this package! With
a choice of dining at breakfast, lunch or dinner at some of EPCOT's best restaurants, it's a win-win!

The 2023 Food & Wine Festival is well underway, but it's not too late to book a visit THIS YEAR as it runs into November and it's never too early to plan for next!

If nostalgia is the driving force that brings you out to Disneyland and you want to feel a little immersed in "the Disneyland of Walt's Day", I highly recommend staying at the Disneyland Hotel. As the first hotel to open at the resort in 1955, it's home to displays of
memorabilia, attraction models, vintage photographs and nods to a bygone era throughout the towers.

Disneyland is a really special place and honestly something I consider a MUST DO for anyone that is more than just a casual fan of the theme parks. If you're captivated by Disney's origin story, let's talk about getting you out there!

Are you a "completer"? Meaning, do you like to feel like you DID IT ALL on vacation? If so, the Disneyland Resort is the destination for you. With only two theme parks and a smaller shopping district, five days at Disneyland is all you really need to feel like it's been DONE! Now, you may want to stay longer to try more dining experiences or soak up as much of Walt's park as you can, but you can truly feel fulfilled in under a week.

If the massive four Disney parks on the East Coast feels like a daunting magical overload, why not start where the magic began? The OG, Disneyland, is smaller with
just two theme parks that you can easily breeze back and forth between on foot without even really breaking a sweat. (Depending on the season, of course) What do
you think, is smaller more magical or do you think go BIG or go home?

Happy National Friendship Day, guys! Not to be confused with International Friendship Day which was just last month. Universal Orlando Resort gives us what the Walt Disney World Resort just can't seem to...theme park refillable mugs! Yup, you can purchase a refillable mug to use inside the theme parks! Plus, it's not only Coca-Cola beverages, it includes Icee drinks too! You know what that means, right? Unlimited FROZEN COKES!

Now this mug is a SEPARATE purchase from Universal's resort refillable mug program, but it's still a fantastic bargain for anyone that enjoys fountain beverages and/or Icees. Especially in the hot summer months!

You know what's more refreshing than watermelon on a hot summer day? Watermelon on a hot summer day at Nomad Lounge. A stop at this Animal Kingdom hidden gem is something you'll definitely want to add to your itinerary. Don't let the word "lounge" fool you. It's kid friendly, has a fantastic small bites menu and offers both alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments...many garnished with watermelon! Try either version of Jenn's Tattoo if you're a fan of the unofficial fruit of summer.
