You didn’t know Kokomo had this 🌳

A giant sycamore stump that’s estimated to be up to 1,500 years old.

The stump is more than 57 feet around and has called Highland Park home since 1916 after being hauled into town to preserve a piece of Howard County history.

Honestly, pictures don’t prepare you for how massive this thing is.

The oldest art glass company in America is right here in Kokomo.

At Kokomo Opalescent Glass, molten glass still gets made by hand using methods dating back to the 1800s. You can even tour the factory and watch the process up close.

Some places make souvenirs. Kokomo makes the glass artists use to create them.

🧘 Start Saturday morning with Synergy Saturday at the Kokomo Art Center. Yoga surrounded by art, followed by tea time inside the Spring Art Show.

🥕 The Kokomo Farmers Market is back Saturday morning with fresh produce, baked goods, flowers, coffee, and local vendors downtown.

😂 Saturday night belongs to Blind Tiger Comedy at Rhine Hall. Stand-up, sharp jokes, and a night built for laughing with friends.

🏁 Then wrap up the weekend Sunday at Kokomo Speedway for the BC Indiana Double featuring Non Wing 410 Sprints, Modifieds, and Thunder Cars.

🎤 Catch the Rising Stars Singing Competition at Rhine Hall Events on Friday night. Local talent, big voices, and plenty of hometown energy.

🚛 Monster trucks take over Kokomo Speedway this weekend with giant jumps, roaring engines, and a full pit party experience before the show.

🎬 Wrap up Saturday night with an outdoor movie at Library Con in Russiaville. Bring a chair or blanket. Popcorn and drinks are covered.

Downtown Kokomo looks different on two wheels! Koko-Go Free Ride gives you free bikes right in the heart of downtown. And while summer isn't fully upon us, we already get free bike rentals on the weekends!

Ride the riverwalk. Check out murals. Stop for coffee, food, or a brewery break. Everything stays close when you’re on a bike.

The Kokomo Park Band brings free live music to Highland Park every Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. starting on June 3.

More than a century of tradition. Dozens of musicians on stage each week. And a full summer of concerts under the open sky.
