On our latest night dives, we’ve begun to use with a blue setting, giving a unique view of the reef. Many creatures produce fluorescent proteins that glow under blue or UV light, revealing hidden beauty. Corals often use this ability to protect themselves from the sun's UV rays. Others might use it to attract prey able to see the UV spectrum.
