Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. What a joy it is to welcome Elizabeth Brown (La Grange Campus) and Zachary Oxar (Tomball Campus) to the Camp Lone Star year-round team!

Elizabeth recently graduated from Concordia University Texas and will complete her ministry internship with us. Zachary is a graduate of Concordia University, Nebraska and has a heart to serve the Lord wherever He leads.

What makes this story especially meaningful is that both Elizabeth and Zachary first served on our La Grange summer staff. During those summers, Jesus used camp to help them discover their gifts, deepen their faith, and ignite a desire to serve Him in full-time ministry.

At Camp Lone Star, we believe God uses this ministry to cultivate Christian leaders. Elizabeth and Zachary are beautiful examples of that mission in action. It has been a privilege to watch God shape them, and we are honored that He has called them to continue serving here as part of our year-round team.

Please join us in welcoming Elizabeth and Zachary as we celebrate all that God has done—and all He has yet to do—through their lives.
