Eagle Watch Weekend is only a few days away, and so are the freezing temperatures! But don’t worry—those colder temps are great news for eagle watching.

As rivers and waterways freeze farther north, bald eagles gather near open water to hunt, which means more eagles spotted along the river during Eagle Watch Weekend!

Stay warm while exploring with our heated trolleys. Wristbands for unlimited rides between locations are available for $5 per person, per day.

Need a break from the cold? Warm up by the fireplace in the Great Hall, grab a hot chocolate or coffee from the café, or stop by the gift shop, fully stocked with hats, gloves, and other cold-weather essentials.

The Owl Dogs love a cozy vibe. There IS a dog in there, but he’s not into winter. At the Snug Owl, we get it, so your pup is welcome to curl up on the faux fur sofa cover in front of the electric fireplace. No dog fees!
