After cancelling Saturday afternoon's 1st race of the NCYC Champagne Series, the 2 scheduled races of the series took place yeaterday. Congrats to all competitors for a well-sailed race. Here are photos taken from the finish boat by race committee participant Gary Goldberg.

Fellow sailor Ted Turner passed away this week at the age of 87. Ted was a member of the America's Cup Hall of Fame and the National Sailing Hall of Fame.

NCYC was the host location for a wonderful presentation last evening, in which Chris Gillcrist enlightened attendees about the sailors AND the Fitz. Many thanks to the North Cape Sailing School for hosting this event. And thanks to NCYC's RC Jen Logan and her team who prepared dinner...replicating the final meal served aboard the Edmund Fitzgerald.
