Here's a tip that could save you a headache while you're traveling...

Don't assume cash is king. 💳

More airports, hotels, restaurants, and even attractions are going completely cashless.

Picture this... you've made it through TSA, you're hungry, and that airport burger is calling your name... 🍔

Then you see the sign:

"Card Payment Only."

Or you finally arrive at your hotel, ready to start your vacation, only to find out they require a credit or debit card for check-in and incidentals—even if you planned to pay cash.

Before you leave home:
✅ Bring at least one credit or debit card.
✅ Let your bank know you're traveling.
✅ Keep a little cash for tips and small vendors—but don't depend on it.

The best vacations happen when you're prepared for the unexpected.

If you're planning a cruise, here's one piece of advice I give every client:

Cruise with a passport whenever possible.

While some closed-loop cruises allow U.S. citizens to sail with a birth certificate and government-issued ID, a passport provides an extra layer of protection and flexibility if the unexpected happens.

Imagine needing to fly home unexpectedly because of:
⚠️ A medical emergency
⚠️ Missing the ship at a port
⚠️ Travel disruptions
⚠️ Family emergencies back home

Without a valid passport book, returning home from a foreign country can become much more complicated.

A passport isn't just a travel document—it's peace of mind.

As a travel advisor, I always recommend applying for or renewing your passport well before your trip. It's one of the smartest investments you can make for international travel.

📌 Pro Tip: Check your passport expiration date today. Many countries require that your passport be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.
