What a great week of new experiences and learning at Disneyland this week. We had an amazing special guest show up at the end of the program, too. How cool. I can’t wait to share the new knowledge with my customers.

I’m spending time at Disneyland Resort this week for Disney’s Agent Education Program.

This is one of the best parts of being a travel advisor because I get to hear directly from Disney’s team about what is coming, what families should know, and how the parks are being positioned for the year ahead.

That kind of firsthand education matters. It helps me give better guidance on:

• When to visit
• Where to stay
• How to approach special events
• What experiences are worth prioritizing
• How to make the trip feel easier for parents and more magical for kids

Whether you’re thinking about a Walt Disney World vacation or a Disneyland staycation, I’d love to help your family plan it well.

Reach out anytime and I’m happy to talk through what might make the most sense for your family.

Over $3,000 put back in local families’ pockets.

That is the combined amount I’ve just saved existing clients by repricing eligible cruise reservations after Disney Cruise Line’s newest offer was released in the last 36 hours.

This is one of the clearest examples of why booking with a travel advisor can pay off.

I track promotions every day.
I review existing bookings all the time.
I handle the repricing process (Disney had 2 hour hold times yesterday that I waited on to save my customers money).

My clients do not have to keep checking and worrying about whether they missed something.

A cruise booking is not always “set it and forget it.” When the right promotion comes along, it is worth having someone in your corner watching for it. Not every reservation will qualify, but when it does, the savings can be significant.

If you want help booking a Disney or Royal Caribbean cruise with someone who doesn't go away after collecting the deposit, I’d be glad to help.

Many of Disney Cruise Line's Halloween on the High Seas and Very Merrytime cruises out of San Diego are now on sale. 🎃🎄

If you have been waiting for the local sailings to open, now is the time to start comparing dates, stateroom options, and pricing.

Disney also released a new offer on select sailings:
• Up to 50% off the voyage fare for up to 3 kids ages 17 and under
• Requires 2 full-fare guests in the same stateroom

Offer details:
• Valid on select sailings from October 1, 2026 through March 27, 2027
• Must be booked by June 14, 2026
• Taxes, fees, and port expenses are not included
• Excludes Concierge, Suites, and some restricted categories
• Cannot be combined with other offers

If a San Diego Disney cruise is on your list, this is a good window to look at what is available and see which sailings actually qualify.

Reach out if you want help narrowing the best date, stateroom, and sailing for your family.

I was given a special opportunity to book a day early on the newly announced pre-inaugural US launch of Legend of the Seas on November 8. The sailing is now open to the public, as well. Anyone up for joining me & the kids on this incredible ship for a rare Icon Class short Caribbean sailing?

I'm back from some great Disney and Royal Caribbean research trips out east and catching up on work. That includes diving into crafting a really cool and unique 15-day land and sea adventure in Alaska for a lucky couple.
This is one of those cases where I am really, really jealous of the trips I plan. Witha week on land (from Seward up to Denali) and an intimate adventure sailing on UnCruise through the Northern Passage with Glacier Bay, Sitka, and Juneau, Icy Strait, this trip goes deep into my favorite highlights of Alaska. Thanks to the size of the ship it gets to areas of Alaska's wilderness my usual partners can't dream of.

After an action-packed day on Coco Cay, I asked my 7-year old son to rank the Dinsey and Royal Private beach experiences. I would not have expected the results before this week.

4. Coco Cay- He loved the activities (basketball, ping pong, beach games), but the walk to get to South Beach was not appreciated. The food was a let down and he got yelled at by a couple of adults who were sipping drinks in the family pool for splashing when swimming. He was also upset i denied him Thrill island which was at peak pricing with 2 large ships in port.
3. Lookout Cay - He really enojyed the Splash pad and there was good food, and were able to play fun games Caribbean waters.
2. Royal Beach Club - The pool was a reason he rated it highly, despite complaints it was crowded while we were in there. The beach was good and not crowded. And he rated the tender highly (my personal rankings treat the tender very different).
1. Castaway Cay - The waterslides in the water are his favorite. He also enjoyed the kids club, thought the water was the best, and loved the family time.

If you're trying to decide which stops make the most sense for you, feel free to get in touch.

We spent the day at Royal Caribbean’s new Royal Beach Club in Nassau. It is definitely now near the top of available experiences in Nassau. For those used to DCL don’t expect it to match Lookout or Castaway. For the right people though, with the right expectations, this is a great new addition to Royal itineraries.

This week’s family cruise is Utopia of the Seas with my son. Instead of ice cream, he started the cruise with cupcakes, instead of shows and movies, he’s excited for zip lines, surfing, and basketball. My 2 trips with the 2 kids show that no one cruise is better for everyone. It’s just about matching your vision to the right ship and sailing.

The first ice cream has been served. It’s officially cruise time. The Dream class ships are so unique on Disney Cruise Line. So many nuances to catch up on.
