This is a short section from Book 2… back when Hedonism III was still around.
If you’ve ever wondered what our books are actually like…
this is pretty much it.
Not a how-to…
not a conquest list…
just the kind of things that somehow happen when you travel with the wrong people… or really the right ones… or the people we loved being with.
"That night, we had dinner at the Japanese restaurant…
the one with the grill right in front of you.
Eddy reached out and tapped the surface.
Quick. Casual. No explanation.
A few minutes later, he stood up…
standing where the chef stands in front of the grill…
and dropped his pride and joy dead center.
While saying,
“How about hibachi sausage.”
He had not accounted for temperature zones.
The edges were cool.
The middle was not.
His manhood… cooked.
Not metaphorically. Not emotionally.
Hibachi-level consequences.
Singed across the bottom…
like his sausage had made a terrible life decision
Somewhere, we still have a photo of it soaking in a glass of water like an injured goldfish."
Our books aren’t about what we planned…
they’re about what went completely off the rails around us… and occasionally because of us.
And somehow… through all of it…
we’re still laughing…
still getting on planes…
and still choosing each other.

It’s unpredictable, hilarious, occasionally reckless… but absolutely unforgettable. In Book 2 of the series, Judy & Hugh dive deeper into travel, temptation, misadventures, and the kinds of stories that usually stay behind closed doors… or whispered about over cocktails. Exotic destinations......
