I have had a couple of people ask if we planned to groom the trails. With the warm temps coming shortly we decided not to groom the trails and will be wrapping up the ski season. Bikes and hikes season coming.

2-20-26 trail update. Well we didn't get any snow last night that we hoped for. Inspected trails. Track is pretty mich gone but the base survived except where the trail crosses the pipeline. Decided not to groom as there is little snow crust over the trail which should make it skiable and putting the teeth down to groom would have just brought up more trash. So skate skiing should be ok but use old skis Fatbiking should be good riding.

2/14/2026 trail update. East side trails groomed this morning and are in good shape. It's going to get warm so please don't use trails if they are turning soft later in the afternoon Try to use early in day when temps are cooler to help trail hold up

2/6/2026 trail update. All trails at Sisters farm were groomed today. Skiing, fat tire biking and snowshoeing should all be great this weekend. Time to get out and play. Again just a note please do not hike on groomed trails. Groomers spend a lot of time getting the trails in great shape and hikers without snowshoes can pothole a trail in a hurry. Fat tire bikes, snowshoers are encouraged to to use the West side trails and keep to the side away from the track set for skiing. Have a great weekend everyone.

Sister Farm trail update. 1/30/26. Steve groomed the East side trails yesterday and reports them to be in good shape with skate lane and tracks set. We didn't do anything with the West side but snowshoe, fat bike and ski tracks should be in good shape. Weekend temps should be nice and trails are ready for you to get out and play

1/25 26 High school trail is groomed and in the best shape of the winter so far. If you are willing to brave the cold, the trail is in great skiing (both classic and skate) and snowshoeing condition. Please be extra careful if out on the trail though in the bitter cold over the next few days, the cabin is open if you need to warm up.

The high school trail was groomed Friday night (1/16/26). It should set up well and make a nice firm deck for skating and snowshoeing by morning. A shallow classic track was also cut in.

1/16/26 Sisters Farm trail report. We groomed the skate lane on the East side trails but didn't have enough to set new tracks. Groomed the west side ski/fat bike/snowshoe trails on the West side and tried to set a track. It's there but not very deep. Didn't touch the single tack but Fat biking should still be very good but a bit icy under the snow so caution is advised. Parking lot is plowed but it is very icy so be careful. Trails should be in fair to good shape for the weekend.

1/14/26 SF trail update. Groomers will take a look at the trails today but we likely won't try to groom until Friday morning as snow is predicted on Thursday and Thursday night. Base is still there but is hard and icy. Snowshoe and Fat biking should be good as trail if very firm. we will update if we do some grooming.

1/11/26 High School trail report
High school trail is groomed but the snow is very transformed and the trail is icy. Lots of twigs and bark are in the trail and we could use a few inches of new snow to work with. Classic track is set but it is shallow and icy.

1/9/26 Sisters Farm Trail update as fo 5:00 pm spent the day grooming the trail on the East side and making the west aide useable Since we hadn't groomed since the big storm there was some snow to work with above the base. Set the teeth low and was able to fill in the tractor ruts from trail clean up to about 80 percent. We need some more snow to fully fill them in. There is some trash on the trail and bare spots where the trails cross the pipline but skiing should be pretty good. Track is set on the East side but isn't real deep. Needs to be skied in.

West side trails- fat bike single track opened up and rolled and should be firm tomorrow. All the wider multi use trails are firm but no track is set as we will have to wait for more snow but fat tire biking and snowshoeing should be good. I would stick with skiing on the east side trails for now.

**** I am canceling the workday we has scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday at 9 due to a number of reasons, didn't get much reponse to help, a number of funerals tomorrow, trails are now mostly cleared after today's effort and I need a day off. If you were planning to work you still can the west side trails still need some things cut back along the trail and many branch's laying in/on the trail need to be picked up before we groom so if you like just pick a trail to go down and clean and cut anything obstructing the trail. Thanks
