A two piece band from Lafayette SICK RIDE was one of a couple bands that got me fired up about live music again. I was heart broken two years ago when after a packed show at FeednSeedLafayette that it was to be there last. But, music for Matt Breaux and Trent Turnley was not coming to an end. In fact, this was the beginning of something new and even more powerful Knives in the Champion . Tonight was the first ever live performance The Loose Caboose and it did not disappoint. I stopped by at their Poydras St. location to try one of their weekend specials, and this was definitely not your average croissant. Buttery, savory, and packed with Louisiana flavor, it’s the kind of creation that makes you want to come back and see what’s next!

🏈⚾️ If you’re a sports fan, Legends of Lafayette is definitely a place to check out!

I recently stopped by their new Johnston Street location, and one of my favorite things is how well they’ve brought the sports theme to life. From the memorabilia and photos of legendary players to the real sports scoreboard inside, every detail adds to the atmosphere. 🔥y dane los ♣

I also got to try some of their quesadillas while taking in the new space. 🌮
