FOR SUNDAY - a level 3/5 risk of severe storms is now expected across the northern half of Mississippi. This is an all-hazard risk...damaging winds, large hail, and tornadoes are possible Sunday night into Monday morning. Specifically, it's looking like ~10 PM Sun - 8 AM Mon.

There is a lot of chatter in the storm chaser community that this risk for days 6 and 7 are so huge and why? The Severe Weather Risk for days 6 and 7 lines up very well with forecast risk using the LRC from nearly 50-days ago. The weather pattern is cycling regularly and the Weather 20/20 long range predictions have been over 90% accurate weeks to months ahead providing advanced preparations. The GFS, Euro, and other models are now coming into focus for this risk evolving later this week. Learn more at Weather2020.com. The risk could extend farther north over KC than I drew in on February 8th.
