La to Tj Established January 2018, LA to TJ is an annual 250 mile group bike ride from Los Angeles to Tijuana. Kevin and Kris both rode acoustics. Border at Tijuana.

Jan 25, 2018, Kevin Marlowe, Pat Cable, Kris Marlowe and Nick Chaffee started with a 30-mile ride at night in LA called Critical Mass. It is a night ride through the streets of LA with hundreds of other cyclists. The next morning Jan 26, 2018, they rode from Los Angeles to Tijuana where they arrived Jan 31, 2018 and LA to TJ was born! They only carried what they could in backpacks, no chase car, n

o generator, and no hotel reservations. They just rode as far as they could each day and then looked for a hotel and it worked out perfectly. Pat and Nick were on electrics. 250 miles and 4 days later they were at the U.S. Pat took a train home and Nick, Kris and Kevin rode around Pacific Beach all day for another 50 miles. LA to TJ happens every year in late January and has grown every year from 4 to 7 to 8 to 9 to 14 in 2023!
