Happy Valentine's Day: THE BLUE WHALE.

In these two attached whale articles from different published works, (not mine): The credits are also listed after the article.

The article you are reading now here, is mine, yet not published yet.
Here we go:

Maybe the surfaced and beached whales are too tired or injured to swim. As oxygen breathing mammals; My hypothesis is: Perhaps whales beach themselves at high tide in hopes of maintaing their breath. Then in hopes of recovery and regaining their strength, the whales hope, is to be washing themselves back into the sea with the next high tide. There was a King Tide on the same day as this endangered Fin Whale beached itself- article photo attached, "Massive Endangered Finwhale- The second-largest whale on Earth." I'm curious if the whales are missperceived, or just over looked as nuclear submarines -or any other man-made vessel- practice drills or defense tactics. Another question can be asked: Are the whales trying to avoid the Orca, (a new population to our local, California Coast) and exhausting themselves in retreat from a brutal attack of Killer Whales, (Orca?") Either way, the whale subjects are interesting to me. The, Blue Whale has always been my favorite animal.

One time; and one time only: I was on a friend's boat all geared up to spear fish under a kelp paddy. When all of the sudden, we spotted a Blue Whale. I insisted the boat owner, (a very good friend of mine) drop me in the water directly in the whale's path. With no hesitation, I submerged myself in the whale's direction. I saw this giant wall, of this massive subject, go by me. I was astonished. I fealt so small compared to the presence of my favorite mammal, THE BLUE WHALE.
I'm not obliged to say, "I will never jump in on a Blue Whale again." However, the humbleness I recieved from being so close to my favorite animal will forever be in my thoughts.
