No, this is not AI, Lahaina is just the best place in the world to watch humpback whales. We were lucky enough to witness this rare, triple breach!! Whale season runs December 1- mid April and we encourage everyone to make this a must do activity on your trip to Maui! Whale season is still going strong! This es**rt was incredibly active while hanging around a mom and baby. What an angle to see this remarkable behavior! If you listen, you can hear the power of 70,000lbs hitting the water. You can also see the ventral pleats down his chin AND you can glimpse baleen!! What a shot!

Baby whales always make us smile! They get the “whale zoomies” sometimes and splash away. Often the moms are snoozing while baby bops around, but on rare occasions they will show baby how it’s really done! The size difference and hang time is really something to behold!

This female whale came over to check out our boat, and stayed for the shade! She swam over to our boat, became so relaxed and trusted us so much that she was photographed during this encounter with her eye closed....meaning she was comfortable enough to take a whale nap in our shade. We always abide by approach limits and never ever put the whales in any danger.

What a year 2025 has been! We didn’t know what to expect, but any expectations we did have are blown away. The support we have received and the positive feedback we have gotten has been incredible. This year has not been without its challenges, but we are beyond grateful to still be here doing what we love.
We hope to share many, many more years with the whales and our incredible guests and community who have been with us since the beginning. Thank you to each and every one of you, and thank you to our amazing team who has kept the whole show going! Cheers to 2026 🐋🎊🍾🎉

Today marks two years since the Lahaina fire - a day of mourning, remembrance, and gratitude.
We grieve the loss of our beloved town, its rich history, and the many beautiful souls the fire claimed.
Yet we also give thanks - for the gift of being here, for the chance to keep moving forward, for the bonds we share as we support our community.
And we give thanks for the new friendships that carry and share the same deep love for Lahaina in their hearts.

We love you Lahaina and we miss you, so so much.

Monday July 14th NBC will be airing Survival Mode. Capt. Chrissy and Capt. Emma shared their story about how they survived the Lahaina Fire. We aren't sure how much of their story they will share, but tune in tonight to check it out. We love Lahaina and the community with all of our heart. It has been a tough recovery, but we are so grateful to everyone who has reached out to us, and even met us at the dock! We are thankful for those wonderful connections and friendships we have built with those who have taken a tour with us on our boat. It helps us push forward, and we thank you so much for supporting and loving Lahaina.

Captain Emma, Captain Chrissy and Captain Lashawna were recognized by the United States Coast Guard for helping to rescue over 40 individuals in the devastating Lahaina fire. They were also nominated to the IMO (International Maritime Organization) for exceptional bravery at sea. What a great honor to be recognized and we are truly grateful for the United States Coast Guard and everyone involved in the rescue efforts.
