Yesterday, as I walked through Lahaina Harbor, I was moved to tears to see the community come together in a place that was tragically taken from all of us. Many residents were forced to move away because they were displaced. While slow, there is a bit of progress to bring life back to this small town. As this happens, more residents that were displaced by the fire will be able to move back. Here at Maui Ocean Adventures, we want to support our fellow survivors in any way we can. The feedback we have received from our Lahaina survivors about our program has been incredibly positive and we want to continue to help. We will continue to offer free whale watches for our community as more and more of our community return. To date we have given away over $50,000 worth of seats to help heal and as a very small business, we are proud that number and only want to see it grow and continue to show up for our community the best way we can.
