Our Christmas cruise plans are officially coming together! 🛳️✨

I booked our Port Adventures last night, and I’m SO excited about the mix we ended up with:

🏝️ Kuza Family Beach in Cozumel for a fun family beach day
💆‍♀️ A massage on one of our sea days because vacation should actually feel like vacation
🥂 Palo Brunch on our final morning, which feels like the perfect way to wrap up the trip

One of my favorite things about a Disney Cruise is that you can make it exactly what your family needs… adventure, relaxation, amazing food, or a little bit of everything.

Now the countdown really feels official. ❤️

WORTH IT WEDNESDAY: Disney Cruise Line Verandah Stateroom 🚢

This week's question: Is it worth paying more for a verandah on a Disney Cruise?
My verdict: Yes!

I love having a verandah. There's something about stepping outside first thing in the morning, watching the ship pull into port, or sitting outside for a few quiet minutes while everyone else is getting ready.

I think a verandah is especially worth considering if you:
• Know you'll actually spend time in your stateroom
• Enjoy having your own quiet outdoor space
• Have little ones who go to bed earlier while you're not quite ready for bed
• Love the idea of enjoying coffee or room service breakfast outside
• Are sailing an itinerary where you'll have some great views along the way

But if you're the type of family that's out of the room from morning until bedtime, I'd absolutely consider saving the money and booking an Oceanview or Inside stateroom instead. You're still getting the same incredible ship, dining, entertainment, and service!

For me? If the price difference makes sense for the trip, I'm choosing the verandah. I definitely use it enough to justify it!

WORTH IT WEDNESDAY: Disney Dining Plan 🍽️

This week's question: Is the Disney Dining Plan worth adding to your Walt Disney World vacation?
My verdict: It depends on what you value!

I don't always look at the Dining Plan as a way to save money. For me, one of its biggest benefits is convenience. You can pay for your meals ahead of time and head into vacation knowing that a big portion of your food budget is already taken care of.

I think it's especially worth considering if you:
• Like the idea of having meals prepaid before you arrive
• Plan to enjoy several table-service meals during your trip
• Don't want to think as much about food costs while you're on vacation
• Have kids who are excited about character dining

If your family tends to share meals, eats lighter, or doesn't plan on many sit-down meals, paying as you go may make more sense.

The Dining Plan isn't automatically a money saver for every family, and that's why I like to look at how each family actually plans to eat before recommending it.

JUST BOOKED! ✨

Apparently my returning clients are loving the Skyliner resorts lately!

This family is headed back to Walt Disney World in September 2027, and this time they're making it a multigenerational trip with 5 adults and 2 kids, including three grandparents joining in on the fun.

They'll be staying in a Preferred Room at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, giving them easy access to the Skyliner for their EPCOT and Hollywood Studios days.

Their trip includes:
• Caribbean Beach Preferred Room
• 4-Day Park Hopper Tickets
• Disney Dining Plan
• A Disney vacation with three generations together!

That makes Art of Animation, Pop Century, AND Caribbean Beach booked lately... now I just need someone to book Disney's Riviera Resort so I can complete my Skyliner resort collection. 😂

WORTH IT WEDNESDAY: Park Hopper Tickets 🎟️

This week's question: Are Park Hopper tickets worth the extra cost at Walt Disney World?
My verdict: It depends!

I personally love having Park Hopper tickets because of the flexibility they give you. You can start your morning in one park and head somewhere else later for dinner, fireworks, or just because you feel like changing plans.

I think they're especially worth considering if you:
• Have a shorter trip and want the option to visit more parks
• Want the flexibility to change plans as you go
• Have dining reservations in a different park
• Want to easily hop between EPCOT and Hollywood Studios using the Skyliner

But if it's your first visit, you're traveling with younger kids, or you prefer taking your time and spending a full day in each park, you may be perfectly happy with one park per day and can put that extra money toward something else.

For me, Park Hopper isn't about trying to cram as much as possible into one day. It's about having options.

Spring Break 2027 might feel far away… but if you’re thinking about traveling, now is a really good time to start looking. ☀️

Our local spring break is in March, and I’m already seeing February and early spring trips booking. Starting early gives you more options for resorts, staterooms, room categories, and pricing before choices start narrowing down.

If spring break is on your radar, this is the time to start asking questions and comparing options, even if you’re not ready to book today.

Disney World, Universal, a cruise, or somewhere warm and relaxing… I can help you figure out what makes the most sense for your family.
