When Iâm planning park days for my family, I consider a few things to help make our trips smoother and memorable.
â¨Pick the least favorite park first â¨
We start the trip off on the low bar. That way we arenât disappointed on day 1 if itâs busier, hot, or we need to leave because the kids are donnneeeee. But we start the magic regardless.
â¨Check the calendarâ¨
Once we get a little closer to our trip, I check the calendar for the park hours and if there are special events. This helps me plan out what days weâll do which parks and pick our down days. I like to get the most out of each park, so knowing opening and closing, extended parks hours are helpful.
If there is a special event, like Mickeyâs Not So Scary Halloween Party, the parks can close early to regular ticket guests.
â¨Double Up with Park Hopperâ¨
If you happen to decide on Park Hoppers for your trip, double up on your favorite parks. That way you can spread your fun out and hit things you might miss on your first go around. Iâm a sucker for two Magic Kingdom or Epcot days.
