Does Disney World feel different to you lately?

You’re not imagining it.

Disney World has changed—and it’s not just the price of a vacation.

The atmosphere in the parks feels different. There are more premium experiences, more decisions to make, and more ways to spend money once you’re through the gates. Lightning Lane, resort prices, after-hours events… it can sometimes feel like the simple Disney vacation we remember has become a much more complicated one.

But here’s the thing: I don’t think Disney World is ruined.

I think the bigger question is who Disney World is being designed for today—and what that means for the rest of us.

That brand equity is worth something—and on Disney Cruise Line, you’re paying for it.

Think the best time to ride Kilimanjaro Safaris is first thing in the morning? 🦓🐘

Not necessarily.

One of my favorite Disney’s Animal Kingdom tips is to pay attention to the **animals’ feeding schedules**. As the afternoon progresses, you may catch animals becoming more active around feeding times—and some of my best safari experiences have happened later in the day.

There’s no guarantee with wildlife, of course. That’s part of what makes the safari so much fun. But if you’re planning a day at Animal Kingdom, don’t automatically assume that rope drop = the best safari.

Most people driving down International Drive have no idea they're passing a piece of Orlando restaurant history. The very first Olive Garden opened right here in Orlando on December 13, 1982. 🍝

But here's the crazy part: the original Olive Garden is no longer here.

The location has gone through several different restaurants over the years, and today you'd probably never know this was where the chain got its start.

Just another piece of Orlando history hiding in plain sight!
