Disney's Genie+ priority list for Magic Kingdom:

🎢 Ensure you have Genie+ purchased for all of your guests on the My Disney Experience app. You can either add Genie+ to your vacation packing upon booking, or add it daily à la carte.

🕖 At 7:00:00 book Jungle Cruise. This disappears within seconds. This should be your #1 priority for Lightning Lane (LL). There is a second "drop" of LL around 7:08 if you would like to take the risk to book an earlier time slot.

🕚 Book your 2nd LL 120 minutes after park opening or immediately after you tap into the 2nd turnstile for Jungle Cruise. Peter Pan's Flight is your next priority.

🕐 Book 3rd LL 120 minutes after you book your 2nd one, or after you tap into a previous LL. On a sunny day, Splash Mountain should be your next pick. Otherwise, move to #4.

🕒 4th is Big Thunder Mountain Railroad using the same methodology as above.

Hands down, Magic Kingdom is my #1 choice for purchasing Genie+. The number of attractions makes it a no-brainer on busier days. For other parks, I prefer a go early/stay late mentality.

📸 You can use Disney PhotoPass and download single photos!

-Disney PhotoPass Photographers take your picture somewhere awesome.
- Your MagicBand or personal QR code links your photos to your Disney account.
- You have 45 days to view and purchase.

We find this is a cheaper way to get at least one decent family picture per trip. For the 100% free way, you can ask any Disney PhotoPass Photographer to use your phone/camera to take a picture.

Disney's Genie+ priority list for Disney's Hollywood Studios:

🎢 Ensure you have Genie+ purchased for all of your guests on the My Disney Experience app. You can either add Genie+ to your vacation packing upon booking, or add it daily à la carte.

🕖 At 7:00:00 book Slinky Dog Dash. This disappears within seconds. This should be your #1 priority for Lightning Lane (LL).

🕚 Book your 2nd LL 120 minutes after park opening or immediately after you tap into the 2nd turnstile for Slinky Dog Dash. With Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway temporarily moving to LL, do this one.

🕐 Book 3rd LL 120 minutes after you book your 2nd one, or after you tap into a previous LL. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ is temporarily operating with only one set of elevators, so for now, this is priority #3. Otherwise it would be Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.

🕒 4th is Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run using the same methodology as above.

With current crowds, it is likely you will only get a couple of these headliners. In that case, you have a couple options: book a lower priority attraction or continue to refresh periodically. Disney will release "dumps" of LL throughout the day.

🙎🏽‍♂️ Disney's Hollywood Studios is BY FAR the hardest park to navigate with elevated crowds. Why?

🎢 Low ride count. There are only NINE actual rides at this park. And everyone (not you Star Tours) is a banger.

🎭 Lack of entertainment. Walt Disney World is still not operating at 100% capacity and you can feel it in this park. While most stage shows and character meet n greets have returned, they are still modified. Fantasmic! is not back. No street entertainment. These are imperative to keeping ride wait times lower! They help distribute crowds.

⌚ Not a full day park (☝🏽 see above). It is REALLY hard to fill up a full day here which means we get this bolus of crowds late morning - late afternoon. People either sleep in and stay late, or come early and leave late afternoon.

😃 How do you beat this?

1️⃣ Take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry for Disney Resort Hotel Guests. Get to the park 45 minutes BEFORE early entry starts. Go to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Then knock out Slinky Dog Dash or Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway; whatever you don't get on Genie+.

2️⃣ Use Genie+. Priority list on future post.

3️⃣ Find something to do in the middle of the day: table service meal, go back to your hotel, Disney Skyliner drinking tour. 🥂

Who says Walt Disney World can't be for adults? Disney's Yacht Club is perfect for an adults-only getaway. It is one of the Cresent Lake resorts, with boat and walking access to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. 🤼 Let's talk crowds- the word of the day at Disney World for most of February has been B-U-S-Y. This has caught a lot of people by surprise since February (aside from President's Day) is usually a sleeper pick for low crowds.

🐭 How to manage and avoid the rat (mouse?) race:

🌅 Become a morning person. You will get way more accomplished during the first two hours of park opening vs. the middle six hours.

🏊🏽‍♀️ Take a break during that busy mid-day. Go back to your hotel- nap, pool, anything. Loop the monorail and explore the resorts. Great places to nap at Disney's Contemporary Resort (outside meeting rooms) and Disney's Polynesian Resort (hammocks on the sand).

🌛 Go back to the park or park hop around 4:00ish. You will see more people leaving the park than entering. Grab a snack, enjoy the atmosphere and start jumping in line. Lines only go down the closer you get to park close. You can get in line literally 0.01 second before park close. Use this to your advantage. Shops stay open after park close. Buses run well after park close. PARK CLOSE!

🌵 Congratulations "M" Family on your girl's weekend trip to Scottsdale, Arizona!

🍷 The rental property is located in the Arts District of Old Town which has numerous art galleries, shops, restaurants, breweries, and wineries. Aridus Wine Compay and SuVino Winery are a very short walk away.

🏘 Have you been to Scottsdale? Any recommendations for this group? I'm eyeing up this rental for a future trip - shoot me a comment if you want more details on the property.

🚢 Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside is a moderate resort along the Sassagoula River. It has a large footprint with excellent dining and entertainment options. We love Yehaa Bob Jackson at River Roost! "How's my hair?" IYKYK.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

🚌 The only drawback at POR is the bus service. It often has shared buses with Port Orleans - French Quarter due to their proximity. However, use that to your advantage: when leaving the park, take whichever bus shows up first. It's a quiet, quaint walk from French Quarter back to POR.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
