I know this is hard. It’s hard for me too.

You never once asked me what was for dinner. You didn’t need a ride anywhere. You didn’t have a single opinion about what we were watching tonight. You just… let me exist.

Quietly. Without needing anything from me.

And I’ll never forget you!

The “4 days Disney, 1 day Universal” formula is so overrated and most families planning Orlando trips are planning it wrong. There I said it! 🙂‍↔️

A realistic Orlando combo trip now needs 2 to 3 full Universal days minimum. With 3 parks including Epic Universe and a waterpark you just can’t do it all in one day.

That means your Disney days need to be sharper. Most families don’t need 5 Disney park days but a well-designed Disney + Universal itinerary built for them.

I design Orlando trips around what the destination looks like today. Your family’s pace, your kids’ ages, your budget and an honest picture of what each park day will actually deliver.

My foodie’s diary of favorites this Spring at Walt Disney World 🌸💕

Brunchcot is my annual Flower & Garden non-negotiable. I’m always going to go for fresh eats as much as I can especially when it’s hot! I’m still not over the fact that they removed the cinnamon roll bites. French toast was just ok.

The Mickey-shaped Lemon-Violet Macaron is worth grabbing. It’s sharable, not overly sweet, and the lemon flavor is subtle rather than sharp. Bonus points it’s mickey shaped ofc

Over at Magic Kingdom: the cheeseburger rolls are a staple for a reason. Simple, delicious, and there’s always a line. Get there early because they can sell out.

And then there’s California Grill. If your family is celebrating something special or you just want one elevated evening that isn’t a character meal, this is it.

Castle views, a fireworks observation deck, exceptional food and drinks, and an atmosphere that reminds you Disney dining can be genuinely spectacular when you know where to look.

This is the range I bring to every trip I plan. Festival bites to fine dining, every recommendation personally tested! It’s never pulled from a three year old blog post or outdated AI recommendations 🙈

Not to mention: you may have work deadlines piling up, a sick kid home from school, three different sports schedules, and somehow you’re also supposed to figure out what’s for dinner tonight.

Planning a vacation to somewhere you’ve never been (or it’s been 5+ years) shouldn’t be one more thing on that list.

So when her husband came to me and said — plan her birthday trip, take every single detail off her plate, I knew exactly what that gift actually meant.

🚀 A walkup at Space 220 Lounge- this was a surprise but so worth it!

🌸 Festival bites at every turn during Flower & Garden. We obviously had to eat well without sharing with our kids 😆

All mapped out before she packed a single thing!

On March 29, 2026, Walt Disney Studios Park officially becomes Disney Adventure World with over 90% reimagined since 2002. The park nearly doubled in size. And many families planning a Disneyland Paris trip may have no idea what that actually means for their trip to Paris.
