✨ Disney Cruise Line Policy Updates Beginning June 3 ✨

Disney Cruise Line has announced several policy updates rolling out fleetwide beginning June 3, including changes to the alcohol policy, selfie sticks/tripods, and stateroom decorations.

🥂Updated Alcohol Policy🍾
Guests ages 21+ may now bring onboard:
• ONE unopened bottle of wine or champagne (up to 750 ml) OR
• SIX beers (up to 12 oz each)

✔️ Alcohol must be packed in carry-on luggage.

🍽️ Dining room corkage fee is now $20 per bottle (previously $29).

⚓ Alcohol purchased in ports of call will continue to be held until the end of the voyage.

📅 Rollout Schedule:
• June 3 – Disney Fantasy
• June 4 – Disney Adventure & Disney Magic
• June 5 – Disney Wish
• June 6 – Disney Treasure & Disney Destiny
• June 8 – Disney Dream & Disney Wonder

📸 Selfie Sticks & Tripods
Folded selfie sticks, handheld extension poles, and tripods under 18 inches are now permitted onboard in most areas. Longer items must remain stored in staterooms and may only be used ashore.

🚪 Stateroom Decorations
Disney loves the creativity guests bring to their door decorations! Decorations may still be placed on stateroom doors only, but not on hallway walls or ceilings. All existing decoration guidelines still apply.

If you have an upcoming Disney Cruise Line sailing and have questions about these updates, feel free to reach out! 🚢

🏜️Valley of Fire | Boston Photography Workshop | 2026 wrap-up 📷✨

On the last two days of our workshop, we spent some time shooting the Milky Way late at night, followed by multiple hours of organizing, editing, and sharing what we had photographed! It’s always fun to make great photos, but even more so to be able to share with others! As my final post of the trip, I will share with you some of my favorites (a few of which were obv taken of me 😉). If you have a favorite, tell me in the comments! 😉

It was a beautiful few days in the desert landscape, with a wonderful group of fellow photographers. I am grateful ❤️

🏜️Valley of Fire with - Day 1

I love to plan travel, but you know what I also love?? When someone else plans all of the logistics and I just have to show up with my camera and my enthusiasm!

I have been taking photography classes with Boston Photography Workshops since 2016 and have had the pleasure of doing several trips with them. And guess what, they are AWESOME!

Incredibly thoughtful, caring, and fun instructors (Chris also happens to be a good friend, but still true 😉), well planned itineraries, and like-minded people who all share a desire to learn and to make great photos! I affectionately refer to it as Photography Camp!! So here’s a little peek into day 1. And follow my stories if you want more in the moment antics ☺️📷🏜️

Puerto Rico ❤️
From sunrise to sunset, the views were so beautiful - literally prettier than any place I’ve ever been! After this winter, my soul was in desperate need of some sunshine and palm trees, and I got that and more 🌴☀️

Staying at an AirBnB (in Luquillo) for 5 nights before moving to Old San Juan provided the right mix of local vibes and luxuriating by la playa, while also hiking in El Yunque National Forest, snorkeling off a catamaran, shopping like a local, to then experiencing the culture & history of the oldest American city (although next time, maybe a touch more than 24 hours!). But after the sights and activities, simply the sounds of the coquis 🐸 at night, and the ocean waves waving all of the time will stay with me.

Grateful for this escape and for my friend who lets me tag along on family trips - hehe! 🤗 Ask me anything about our experiences! Happy to share ☺️

What is the prettiest place you’ve ever been?
