The top question I’m asked about Walt Disney World is…

…usually something logistical 😅

“How long will it take us to get to the parks?”
“What’s the easiest way to get there?”
“Should we drive, take Disney transportation, or use rideshare?”
“Which park should we start with based on where we’re staying?”

And honestly? These questions matter more than people realize.

One of the biggest perks of staying on Disney property is the transportation system. Between buses, Skyliner, monorail, and boats, Disney makes it much easier to navigate a very large destination, but knowing how to use it strategically is what really helps your trip feel smoother.

That’s one of the biggest ways I help my clients behind the scenes. I’m constantly helping families figure out the logistics of where to go, how to get there efficiently, and how to avoid wasting valuable vacation time crisscrossing property unnecessarily.

Dinner with a view is not hard to find at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa 🌺

One of my favorite spots on property is ‘AMA‘AMA, the signature oceanfront restaurant at Aulani. The atmosphere alone is enough to make you want to linger a little longer, especially around sunset, but the food absolutely lives up to the view too.

‘AMA‘AMA focuses on fresh island-inspired flavors and locally sourced ingredients. It’s the kind of dinner that becomes part of the vacation memory…relaxing, beautiful, and uniquely Hawaiʻi.

Because Disney can look like fireworks from a private cruise, late-night park strolls from a Deluxe resort, and experiences most people don’t even realize they can book.

This day just might be your favorite day!

Castaway Cay, Disney Cruise Line’s private island, is the perfect blend of fun, adventure, and relaxation...truly something for everyone.

A little strategy can make this day even better.

Location: Don’t stop at the first chairs you see. If you keep walking along the Family Beach, you’ll find quieter spots to settle in. OR if your group is adults-only, Serenity Bay is the place to be! No kids, a beach, shade, a bar and food.

Food: Eat early or late. Between 11:30–12:30, lines at the buffets can get long, so wait. The food won’t run out!

Plan: There’s more to do than most people realize. Use the Navigator app to check the day’s schedule, find characters, and prioritize what matters most, whether that’s the self-paced 5K, snorkeling, or bike rides. Purchase Castaway Cay merch on the island since it’s the only place to buy it.
