Postcards from EPCOT 🎨✨

A little color, a little magic, and a whole lot of fun. Honestly the best pick me up in the middle of winter.

The Festival of the Arts is where Disney mixes art, food, and imagination. You’ll see chalk art on the walkways, giant murals, and artist showcases all around the park. EPCOT basically turns into one big art show.

🎨 There’s art you can watch being made
🖼️ Art you can buy
🎶 Live music and performances
🍰 Fun, artsy food and drinks
🖌️ And lots of interactive things to do, perfect for kids and adults

This festival is one of my favorites because it’s slower, creative, and just really happy. You can snack, wander, and take in the details without rushing.

Save this if you’re planning an EPCOT day in January or February 💕
And if you want help picking the best festival days, you know where to find me ✨

2016 was a bucket list year for me!

I would LOVE to channel that energy into 2026 and am having so much fun seeing everyone 2016 photos!!

In 2016 I was still living the corporate travel and event planning life 💁🏼‍♀️ in California and using all my vacation time to travel even more 😂 hello mileage points!

⛷️ I started the year with friends in Breckenridge, CO. I don’t ski 😅 so we spent a lot of time exploring the beautiful town and mineral baths nearby.

🏝️ Next was my first (of many) trip to Hawaii and we both fell in love. We came back multiple times before we moved to the east coast. Big Island is our absolute favorite.

🥾We also fell in love with Oregon and I went on my first “gorge” hike that included wading through waist high water to reach a gorgeous waterfall.

A lot of exploring California and hugging ancient trees ♥️🪾

🧊 First trip to Alaska and first cruise as a couple! We hiked one glacier, saw an ice cave, and took a boat to see another. This would be the beginning of our love of cruising.

🔥 Back to Hawaii to see the lava flow with a very good friend. I can’t even put into words how epic this trip was.

⚡️ Finally went to Universal Hollywood!! This might have been when my theme park obsession began…

🌄 And couldn’t have ended 2016 any better than a trip to New Mexico with my aunt. Santa Fe to Ojo Caliente was truly magical.

May your 2026 be AMAZING and full of bucket list adventures!!

💌 Postcard from Puerto Plata 🇩🇴

Dear Wanderers,

I went on an adventure in the Dominican Republic with my auntie to taste some rum and see how ci**rs are made! 😍

Puerto Plata has to be one of the cleanest cruise ports I’ve ever seen!

We started our journey off at the Macorix house of rum, tasting six different rums 🤪😋 then headed to Emanuel Ci**rs to watch the pros roll up some to***co.

I loved hearing how much pride the people of the DR have for their culture and seeing it reflected in the architecture and landscape.

See you at the next destination,
XO

Curious what an excursion is like with a cruise ship?! 🚢🐠

🤿 I booked my son‘s VERY FIRST snorkeling experience through a Celebrity Cruise excursion in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This is considered a small group excursion and consisted of only 18 people which was amazing and a great size for a group if you don’t want to pay the higher price tag for a private experience but also don’t want to deal with a massive crowd.

🚢 I also love that the excursion takes you straight from the boat to the snorkel site and brings you back so you don’t have to worry about missing the sale time.

🇵🇷 The snorkeling was done with a local operator, , and they had everything you needed onsite (mask, snorkel, flippers, life vest that could be inflated or deflated to your preference.) They even had a waterproof phone holder that I ended up buying because I forgot mine on the ship 🤦🏼‍♀️😅

Our guide was great and we saw so many fish, 4 squid, 3 sea turtles, and some beautiful ship wreckage 😍 the moment we were done my son asked when we could do it again ♥️

‼️ Not all excursions are created equal, so if you’re curious about booking a cruise and what excursions are worth it, send me a DM!

💌 Postcard from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷

Dear Wanderers,

I took my 8 year old on his first snorkeling adventure! We decided to try out an excursion through our and now he’s asking if we can snorkel everyday 😂 thank you

One of the best things about the port in Puerto Rico is its location. You can easily walk off the boat right into old San Juan. Historically and aesthetically my favorite spot on this journey!

See you at the next port, XO

POV: getting caught in a Caribbean rain shower 🌧️🌊

It was one of those surprise Caribbean rain showers that shows up out of nowhere. Not cold. Not stormy. Just soft, warm rain hitting the water and making the whole beach go quiet for a minute.

It was kind of perfect. One of those random moments you don’t plan but end up loving.

We noticed a lot of people heading out as soon as rain started. Are you team get outta there or stay and see if the rain passes?!

💌 Postcard from Antigua 🏖️

Dear Wanderers,

They say Antigua has 365 beaches, one for every day of the year, and honestly, it feels true. Some are easy to access and some require insider knowledge and a hike, but every single one is beautiful in its own way. The water changes shades of blue as you move around the island, but it’s always bright, calm, and welcoming.

These photos are from Valley Church Beach, and the sand here is something else. Soft, pale, and made up of tiny pieces of seashells. Zoom in on my picture and you can see what I’m talking about!

We really enjoyed the drive from the cruise port to the beach, through the small local villages (and on the other side of the road!) The homes here are painted in warm, happy colors, pinks, blues, yellows, greens. It’s part of the island’s culture: bright houses that reflect joy, tradition, and family.

Even though Valley Church Beach is very popular we were able to find chairs easily ($25 for 2) and the water never felt over crowded. There were times when it was just us swimming around!

Would you spend a day here?!

Can’t wait to share our next adventure!

XO,

Ashley
