On December 28, 2014, my dad, husband, and I woke up at 4am and drove our boys to the Magic Kingdom for the first time as a family for a one day trip.

I took advice from a friend who “went to Disney all the time” about how to plan our park time. I think we rode maybe 6 rides all day and ate a hotdog, popcorn and a dole whip.

We made amazing memories that I truly cherish, but I left that trip thinking… we had spent the same amount of money on tickets as everyone else that day, but we had barely scratched the surface of everything we could have taken advantage of in the park. I vowed to never do that again.

Fast forward a couple years and planning my family’s first week-long trip, I had listened to hundreds of hours of trip report podcasts and had done a tremendous amount of research. I decided then I wanted to help other families make the most of their vacation time and money, and that’s how I got started with .

As I reflect on the end of my seventh year with Jolly Holiday Vacations, I am so grateful for the families who trust me to assist with their vacation memories and those who book with me simply to support my small business. I appreciate you all so much! 🤍
