Being from New York, September 11th will always hit close to home. 🇺🇸

I remember that day, the heartbreak, and the way everything changed. And for my family, it’s even more personal—my dad was an FDNY firefighter who responded that day.

25 years later, I remember him, the heroes who answered the call, the lives lost, and the families forever changed.

Holiday weekends can mean longer wait times, harder-to-get dining reservations, and a whole lot more people trying to do the exact same things you are.

But a busy park doesn’t have to mean a bad park day. 👏

One of the best Disney perks for families with little ones? Kids under 3 don’t need a park ticket! 🙌🏼

We’ve taken Kayleigh dozens of times over the last two years, and every trip has been a completely new experience through her eyes. As she’s grown, there have been new favorite rides, new characters, new reactions — and we wouldn’t change any of it for the world. 🥹💕

People always say, “But they won’t remember it.”

Maybe not all of it… but we will. ❤️

Take them while they’re free. Take the pictures. Make the memories — even if they’re memories you’ll remember more than they will.

And now Kayleigh’s free Disney ride is officially coming to an end. 😭😂 She’ll still be free on Friday, but Saturday is her 3rd birthday, which means her very first park ticket! 🎟️✨ And with her Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique appointment that day, it feels like the perfect way to start this next Disney chapter. 👑

🎂✨ Kayleigh’s 3rd Birthday Disney plans are SET! ✨🎂

We’re staying at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, which means I was able to book our Lightning Lanes 7 days before check-in — one of the biggest perks of staying on Disney property when you’re trying to grab popular attractions and good times!

🏰 Birthday Day at Magic Kingdom

I have our Lightning Lanes set up as the backbone of our day, but that definitely doesn’t mean those are the only rides we’re doing! 😂 The strategy is to use the time in between each Lightning Lane to hit nearby attractions with shorter waits, keep booking additional Lightning Lanes as we use them, and work our way around the park.

The goal? HIT. THEM. ALL. 😂🏰

Our pre-booked plans include:
✨ Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
✨ Peter Pan’s Flight
👑 Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at 11:25
⛏️ Seven Dwarfs Mine Train — separate Single Pass because it’s Kayleigh’s FAVORITE
🍯 Winnie the Pooh
💙 TRON — Single Pass for Mom & Dad while Grandma & Grandpa get some Kayleigh time!

And we’ll be filling in everything we can around those reservations. That’s where having an actual park strategy comes in — not just booking Lightning Lanes, but knowing how to use them to get the most out of your day!

Then we have a Princess Storybook Dinner at Akershus in EPCOT planned for the trip, because obviously the birthday princess needs a princess dinner. 👑💕✨

I plan our trips the exact same way I plan my clients’ — booking at the right time, prioritizing the hardest-to-get attractions, and then creating a strategy around those reservations so we spend less time figuring out what to do next and more time actually enjoying Disney.
