Although he may be short-tempered, Donald is a silly duck with a BIG heart (as you can tell by the way he sweetly woke Lucy up from her nap 😂). As a lover of all things historical and nostalgic, a visit to Carousel of Progress is always a must during my Magic Kingdom days… much to my family’s chagrin. 😅

Some people absolutely love it, while the rest of the population uses it as a nice air-conditioned nap spot.

Disney just announced that COP is getting a MAJOR update! In 2027, we’ll join John, Sarah, Uncle Orville, and the gang through the moon landing in the summer of 1969, Halloween in 1985, New Year’s Eve in 1999, and finally, a future home off-planet.

While I’m excited for the refurb (this ’90s baby is READY to relive Y2K 😂), part of me is sad to see the original show go. Carousel of Progress is the only attraction in Disney World that Walt personally worked on, and even though his vision was always to celebrate change and innovation… it still feels bittersweet. But, like they say… “that’s progress!”

So what do we think about the changes?! 🎡✨
