POV: choosing your Disney resort is basically choosing your transportation strategy👀✨

One of the BIGGEST things people overlook when booking Disney hotels? How you’re actually getting around all week. Because at Disney, transportation can absolutely impact your park days, breaks, stroller naps, rope drop plans, and overall stress levels🚎🚤🚝

A few stroller tips before you save this chart:
Monorails + most large ferries = you can usually roll right on without folding your stroller
Buses = stroller MUST be folded every time
Smaller resort boats = be prepared to fold
Skyliner = most single strollers can roll on, but side-by-sides or oversized strollers may need to be folded depending on size/cast member direction

And remember: Disney transportation is ALWAYS subject to weather, operational changes, and refurbishments🌧️⚠️
Boats and Skyliner are especially weather-dependent, so always check your My Disney Experience app for the most current transportation options during your trip!

The “best” Disney resort isn’t just about theming… it’s about what transportation setup works best for YOUR family👏✨

I got called “just another desperate Disney travel agent”… and I wish it didn’t bother me, but it did.

Social media is flooded with Disney influencers and travel agents right now. I get it. From the outside, it probably all looks the same.

But I’m not here fishing for clients.
And I definitely didn’t get into this for commissions or “free trips” (because if you know, you know… it’s a LOT of work for not a lot of pay).

I’m here because I care deeply about what these trips mean.

I’ve seen families come home and say their Disney trip was a “one and done” because it was overwhelming, exhausting, and honestly… not magical.
And most of the time? It’s not because Disney isn’t worth it.
It’s because it wasn’t planned right for them.

Right for their budget.
Right for their kids.
Right for what they actually needed.

I’ve been the client before.

Disney Cruise Line just dropped a limited-time deal where kids (17 and under) can sail for 50% off on select trips… which feels like the perfect excuse to finally plan that magical family getaway 🏝️

Here’s the scoop:
Up to 3 kids can sail for 50% off when traveling as the 3rd–5th guests in the same stateroom with 2 full-paying guests.

This offer is valid on select sailings from October 1, 2026 through March 27, 2027, and you’ll need to book by June 14, 2026.

A few things to keep in mind:
It doesn’t include taxes and fees, and it’s not valid on all ships, staterooms, or sailings (the Disney Adventure is excluded), and it can’t be combined with other Disney discounts.

Where you stay at Disneyland will 100% affect your trip ✨

Yes—staying offsite will almost always save you money.
But it’s not as simple as just picking the cheapest option anymore 👀

With Anaheim no longer offering a shuttle service, being intentional about where you stay offsite is more important than ever—especially if you’re relying on transportation to and from the parks.

And if you’re booking on your own without a vacation package?
A lot of those hotels require you to pay in full upfront… which means way less flexibility if your plans change.

Now for the other side of it 🤍
