The reason I tell my clients to book early is that most vacations, especially cruises, are the lowest price when they first drop. Additionally, most of the time we can adjust the price if a lower price releases, so there is no harm in securing now. We encourage that the most.

🚨 THERE ARE SOME NEW POLICY CHANGES COMING! 🚨

If you have a Disney Cruise coming up, you'll want to take note of a few updates Disney Cruise Line recently announced. ✨

🍷 Wine Allowance Change
Guests 21+ can now bring 1 bottle of unopened wine or sparkling wine OR 6 beers onboard at embarkation. Previously, guests could bring 2 bottles of wine. The good news? The dining room corkage fee is being reduced from $29 to $20 per bottle.

🚪 Door Decoration Updates
Door decorating isn't going away, but Disney is cracking down on some of the more elaborate displays.
✔️ Magnets are still welcome!
❌ No tape, glue, or adhesives.
❌ No over-the-door organizers.
❌ Decorations cannot extend onto hallway walls or ceilings.
❌ No sound or video elements.
⚠️ Damaging a stateroom door could result in a repair fee.

📸 Photography Equipment
Disney is also adding restrictions on larger selfie sticks, tripods, and extension poles while onboard.

Honestly, I don't think most cruisers will be affected. Your cute magnets, fish extender groups, and celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, and first cruises should still be just fine. Disney is mainly trying to keep hallways clear and prevent damage to stateroom doors. 🚢✨
