I got to work early last night... just so I could catch this sunset. 🌅

After 30+ years as a tour director along the California coast, I still plan my schedule around moments like this.

You know you've found the right career when showing up early doesn't feel like work - it feels like a gift.

Not every day is perfect (last week only 3 out of 70 guests showed up due to weather! 😂), but when your office looks like THIS, even the challenging days are worth it.

If you're thinking about a career change in 2025, here's my best advice:

Find work that makes you WANT to arrive early.

Life's too short to dread Monday mornings. ❤️

After 30 years as a tour director, here's what surprised me most: It's not about knowing every fact about every destination. It's about reading people, solving problems on the fly, and staying calm when plans change (which they always do).

Last week: 70 guests expected, 3 showed up due to weather. We laughed through it. That's the job. And I still love it.
