Over the past few years, we have rented at Mid Lake in both the Summer and Winter. In the Summer, we have enjoyed grilling on the balcony and lounging by the pool. In the Winter, we cozied up by the wood burning fireplace and watched the skiers and snow tubers on the mountain. We have rented several different types of units with a variety of views. Some had only 2 bedrooms, some with less modern u
pdates and some set way back from the lake. It wasn't until May 2017 when we found the perfect one, we knew we needed to share this experience with others! After vacationing “at the shore” most of our lives, we found Mid Lake to have the best of all worlds and this home will be a special place for the next generation of our family to getaway and start new memories “at the lake.” And even better, it's only an hour away from us with very little traffic - more time to spend vacationing! Now that we are Mid Lake homeowners, we have begun to enjoy all the the area has to offer in every season! We have explored Hickory Run State Park with Boulder Field and Hawk Falls, but we really even just love walking over to the BVT (Boulder View Tavern) and the Lake Club. We are excited to venture out on the lake very soon and also maybe even give snow tubing a try! We love staying active up here, but we also really enjoy relaxing and doing fun things with our family we may not have time to do at home with our busy schedules. We have completed 1.5 (almost done the 2nd!) jigsaw puzzles, have very competitive games of 500 Rummy (card game for those of you unsure) and truly just love sitting together on the balcony enjoying cocktail hour overlooking the beautiful lake. Point of our story is, we love it up here so much and want to share it with our family and friends!
