In addition to meeting all the necessary qualifications, we’re searching for someone with float time, Part 135 experience, and a passion for living and working in one of the most beautiful and unique regions in the world. You'll be flying passengers to our favorite island and creating unforgettable adventures.

Exciting News! 📣✨
Word on the street, or should I say sky, is that we're spreading our wings! It's true! We're thrilled to announce that Isle Royale Seaplanes will be relocating to our new permanent "lodge" at Torch Lake Seaplane Base in Hubbell, MI. To get the exact location, please visit our website!

With this new location, we'll have a bigger parking lot, a larger hangar, better wind/weather conditions, and much more! This move comes after years of trying to find a new location to keep up with our growth, and we're grateful to have done so. A big thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout the years!

Don't worry, you'll still see us flying over the canal from Houghton/Hancock; we'll just be a little higher! And most importantly, we'll be keeping our 3 De Havilland Beavers and the 206 of course!

A couple of things to note:
•Our address is not accurate on all navigation systems (we're working on this). Google Maps is updated and is the best source for directions to the new site.
•The new base is currently under construction, so you won't be able to see it from satellite imagery.
•If you've flown with us before, please be mindful that we're about 10 minutes further down the road from our previous location.
•Our check-in and parking systems will remain the same; we still require you to show up 45 minutes before the flight!
•If you're flying from Grand Marais, MN, this will have no effect on you, your flight time, or your departure location.

Two truths & one lie: Beaver Edition! I threw one in there just to trip you up 😉
1. It was named the Beaver after the animal for its hard working nature.
2. It is one of Canada’s top engineering achievements of the 20th century.
3. Beavers are still in production.
4. When on its way to Isle Royale the De Havilland Beaver reaches super sonic speed.
