It was a nice humid afternoon, with very little wind, for a prop balance on this Bonanza out of MS.

It’s been a busy last couple days balancing props to keep these guys running as smooth as possible. Weather caused most of these to be done in the hangar —a little loud but as soon as we finished and weather cleared they were headed to fertilize.

We’ve always heard that whatever you do on New Years you’ll be doing every day of the year! We worked on an airplane balance, and visited with friends! Praying your 2023 will be blessed!

We balanced several airplanes this past week in the Jasper, TX area. Weather was a little rainy the first day but cleared up. I didn’t get pics of all the planes - these are just a few.

Another prop balanced for our friend Jack! Had a great visit with him and Eva- new plane for him. Barry even got to go on a parts run with him to northern Louisiana.

More pics from our whirlwind Prop balancing weekend. We went by Acadian Dusters Saturday afternoon in Church Point and balanced Kyle Smith’s AT. Super clean plane, nice guy, and he had a great helper. And, can’t forget a super curious and friendly dog. They were just beginning to plant rice here.

We finished Saturday morning in Kaplan with a balance that had us all a little frustrated. Sometimes they are easy, and sometimes they will make you think and work really hard for the perfect weight balance solution. Thankful to the mechanics and to Clay who helped us run this numerous times.

We’ve been working long hours but always find time in the evenings to go grab supper. Barry Boyette has fond memories of summers in Abbeybille when he was a kid and his dad was fish spotting. We have been going to Blacks anytime we came back to town, but they have been closed now for a while. We moved across the street to Dupuy’s, which came highly recommended, and the food was excellent. Also saw the end of a wedding across the street. Loved the street car they were using to transport the wedding party. Friday was a good day!

We spent Friday afternoon in Kaplan, LA at Vincent Flying Service. Clay and his pilots and mechanics were great to work with. We finished three yesterday afternoon and got to visit and catch up some. This is Rice Country and planes are planting this morning. Yesterday was a little windy - so most airplanes were grounded.

Balance #2 at Lejeunes Aerial Applications in Basile. We got to visit with our friends Robert and Shane. We got them fixed up and headed down the road. There are crawfish ponds everywhere we look. Also got some awesome seasoning from Shane!
