What a great weekend for Grip N Rip Charters! Ran a short trip Friday and landed a ton of fish including a 13.5 inch Fish Ohio Perch and 28.5 inch Fish Ohio walleye as pictured with our new friend Darren. Saturday we cleaned up with 3 people catching their first walleye (and several other walleye following that). The kids had a great time! We kicked off our season with the crew from Luxury Heating and Cooling for our first trip of the year. Caught some really nice fish for them to fill their freezers. What a great few days we’ve had drifting aboard the Misty! Limits of walleye were had with the crew from Cincinnati as well as the crew from Canton. Michael was somehow able to land a bonus 34” 20+ pound catfish on walleye gear! Most fish were caught south east of Kelly’s Island. Weapons with a gold blade were hot! Even though we had to deal with minimal wind and high heat all day long the crew from Lima were still able to boat several nice Lake Erie walleye! Call Captain Mac and book a trip today!
