🎣 Another Great Day on Lake Erie! 🎉
Morgan arranged a Lake Erie walleye charter as a birthday gift for Tristen—what a way to celebrate!

Originally scheduled for Saturday but moved to Sunday due to the big two-day wind event. A big blow can put the fish in a negative mode. The 1st Off Shore Tackle Company OR-12 inline planner boards started going back as the 3rd rod was going out. Deep Hitstick 9s were the hot stickbaits
We ran those 30/30 to 30/70 with 2oz.

On the Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TruTrip 50s and one of the Dipseys we ran we ran silverback BADMO LURES Arrowhead spoons. TruTrip 50 and a Dipsey were both set 40 back. On the other Dipsey Rapala J9 43 back.

Speed was 2.1 to 2.2.mph all directions.

A very sad day for the BlackH2oDog Charters Crew.

We had to say goodbye to Bos’n — our boy, just 5 years old.

AKC name: Red-Right-Returning

Bos’n came into our lives as a COVID puppy, full of energy and ready to take on the world. And that’s exactly what he did. He finished his Championship as a puppy and earned his Grand Championship by just 14 months old. After the show ring, he turned his focus to agility, working toward his Master Agility Champion title.

Then cancer showed its face.

Sandy poured her heart into him — countless hours dedicated to his diet, treatments, and care. Thanks to that love and fight, Bos’n spent much of his time in clinical remission, still enjoying life the way he always had.
True to who he was, he played his normal game of Frisbee the night before… and then let us know it was time.
Run free, Bos’n.
You were taken far too soon, but you lived every day with joy, drive, and heart.
You’ll always be part of our crew. ❤️🐾🌈

Bob reached out to schedule a Lake Erie Walleye Experience with his grandsons. We had a weather reschedule from April. Today was fantastic. Deep Lil Rippers 15/15 to 30/30 back 2 oz on the Off Shore Tackle Company OR-12 inline planner boards and 23 back on the Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TruTrip 50s. BADMO LURES small Arrowheads on 3 dispey 33 back. Speed was 2.1 mph. We set our boards shortly after short reef and pointed NE towards Kellys.We had a tough time with a fair amount of drifters but there was room for all. 30 beautiful Walleye came to the net then a little bit of catch and release until the fish cleaner opened.

Round two today was a Father Son duo. Michael booked Walleye Charter for his son Nick that just finished his first year at the University of Cincinnati. After leaving the rocks of West Harbor we headed towards the islands with the wind at our back. We set outna program of Deep Lil Rippers and Hitsticks 30/30 2ozmon the Off Shore Tackle Company OR-12 inline planner boards. On the Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TruTrip 50s we ran spoons. 25 and 28 back. Depth was 20 to 24 feet. Speed was 2.1 mph.

Karen and Brad in from Minnesota were making a loop around the Great Lakes stopping in Marblehead Lakside area for a morning of Walleye fishing. A brisket wind day eliminated a few spots for us today but we put a solid program together using Deep Lil Rippers and Hitstick 9s 30/30 2oz on the Off Shore Tackle Company OR-12 inline planner boards. On the Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. . TruTrip 50s we used J7s 30 back. We used the Marblehead peninsula to our advantage today. Speed was 2.1 mph.

What an awesome time with this 1st time on Lake Erie Walleye Charter. Burias, Ari and Sasha out for some Lake Erie Walleye and 5 year old Sasha had a great time. From calling out the Off Shore Tackle Company OR-12 boards going back to cranking in Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TruTrip 50, she was busy. Although she found a brief moment to have her nails painted 😂.

Our ride out started with being checked by the service providers that have our back when we boaters need assistance. Fast friendly and courteous.

Bandits 70 back, Deep Lil Rippers 70 back 2oz. TruTrip 50s 30 back with J7s and Jointed Flicker Shad.

Speed was 2.0 mph between the Islands East of the Monument.
