What a blast this morning with this 1st time Lake Erie crew. Trenton his son Abbot along with Brett and Damon were our to get hands on Lake Erie Walleye Experience.

A short while after passing the Eagle leaving West Harbor, we reached the SE corner of the KI Shoal, we set our gear and never got a break.

Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TruTrip 50s 50 back with crawler harnesses with butterfly blades.

TruTrip 40s with BADMO Arrowhead single spinner withn11 mm beads. On the inner Off Shore Tackle Company inline boards.

Outter boards were 3 oz inlines with Badmo crawler harnesses and Bandits 2 oz 90 back.

All rods were going off and everyone was busy.

2.1 to 2.2 mph into and with the waves.

Darrin and son Rysty and son-in-law Mike were aboard for their first Lake Erie Walleye Experience. We headed NE of KI and set our gear in 42 fow.

It was a bit of a grind today, bits were very light on every rod. Dipsey 3 setting Rapala J7s 61 back. Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TruTrip 50s 50 back with crawler harnesses with BADMO LURES Arrowhead spinners. On the Off Shore Tackle Company OR12 boards, we ran Ripplin Redfins 70 back on TruTrip 40s and crawler harnesses 50 to 70 back with 3oz inline weights.

Speed was 2.1 to 2.2 mph

Melissa and Mike were back from PA for another hands-on Lake Erie Walleye Experience.

We headed East of Kellys Island to 42 fow and set our lines. The Off Shore Tackle Company OR 12 boards got a workout today. Fish were coming in on a variety of approaches.

J7s on Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TruTrip 50s. J9s on Dipsey 3 setting 65 back. Jointed Reble Fastrac 65 back.

On the boards we ran BADMO Arrowhead spinners both single double. 50 and 70 back 3 oz.

Reef Runner Tackle Company Deep Lil Rippers 30/80 on the Offshore boards.

Speed was 2.3 mph

Melissa and Mike were hands on everything as we were all reelers and we played catch and release until the fish cleaner opened.

Peter back on Friday morning to chase summertime Lake Erie Walleye. We headed East of Kellys Island until we reached 42 fow. We set out J7s on a Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TruTrip 50 50 back and Dipsey 3 setting 65 back. On the other side BADMO LURES Arrowhead Spoon on the 50 and crawler harnesses on the high diver.

On the Off Shore Tackle Company boards we ran crawler harnesses with BADMO Arrowhead spinners 70 back 3 oz.

Offshore OR-12 boards working hard as we crossed paths with Tim Joseph.

Speed was 1.8 to 2.0 mph

Peter spending a little bit of time along the Lake Erie shoreline to get a break from the Florida summer heat. He stopped by East Harbor State Park Marina Thursday afternoon and we hit the water in search of his first Walleye and Great Lakes fish. It didn't take long to fill his cooler casting for Walleye along the Kelly's Island shoreline. We targeted water less than 15 fow.

We hit the dock got his fish cleaned and sent him over to Crows Nest to have them prepared a few different ways.

Peter be back Friday AM to see our trolling program.

I have this Sunday open (August 17th if anyone is interested in fishing. Walleye fishing is still going strong, Perch fishing is starting to pick up. Nows the time to get those last trips in before the end of the season.

Perch East of the range cans and Green Island, small shinners set in mud have been best.

Tim and Rebecca along with their sons Mason and Hunter made a stop along there Great Lakes shoreline vacation before heading home to St Louis. Great to see a family support their children's fishing interests. We had a checklist for today's Walleye outing. Catch their 1st Great Lakes fish and their 1st Lake Erie Walleye. Leave dock at 7am and be back by 10:30.

We headed east of the Ferry land. We got it done and they are here headed back home for nice fish day.

Round two today a Father Son team from Cincinnati area. We headed out of a busy West Harbor and headed East of the Ferry lane. We set out a mix to see what these mid-day Walleye wanted. Best settings were Bandit 65 back on Off Shore Tackle Company Inline boards, Reef Runner Tackle Company Deep Lil Ripper 100 back, 2 oz. Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TruTrip 40s 40 back, 50s 40 back, with spoons and crawler harnesses.

Speed was 2.2 mph.

We were all reelers this afternoon, we stopped early to get the fish to Sassy Sal Charter Fish Cleaning.
