This is an excellent way to experience a wonderful day on Lake Erie fishing with friends or family. "MegaCatch" is a roomy, comfortable, clean, seaworthy boat with a stand up private marine head. It is insured and fully equipped with USCG safety equipment, GPS, video fish finder and a marine radio. Perch fishing trips are recommended for families with children. The activity holds children's interest throughout the day's trip. We furnish bait, fishing gear, on board coolers, ice for fish and if requested, poles, tackle, and lures.. Specializing in drift fishing for walleye and perch fishing from two great locations, East Harbor State Park Marina, Lakeside, OH and Seaway Marina Kelleys Island, OH. We follow the fish taking you to the best fish catching areas on Lake Erie's Western & Central Basin.

🎣 Why Lake Erie is the “Walleye Capital of the World”

Did you know Lake Erie produces more walleye than any other freshwater fishery in the world? 🎣

There are a few key reasons why the lake is so productive:

• Perfect spawning rivers – Rivers like the Maumee and Sandusky create ideal spawning habitat each spring.

• Shallow western basin – This area warms quickly and grows huge populations of baitfish.

• Strong management – The Ohio Department of Natural Resources and partner states carefully manage harvest to keep the population healthy.

Because of this combination, Lake Erie supports millions of walleyes and incredible fishing opportunities each season.

For anglers, that means everything from spring casting, summer trolling, and even fall trophy fishing.

Every year I’m reminded why this fishery is so special.
