Cooking class on Oceania 👩‍🍳🍹 We had SO much fun!

Sautéed scallops, poached and seared salmon, salmon dip, a berry dessert and of course a specialty drink! 😋

We cooked, we laughed, we ate… definitely one of my favorite things we did onboard!

Wrangell, Alaska ⚓️

I love exploring the smaller ports in Alaska! We spent the day on the Stikine River, surrounded by absolutely beautiful scenery. We were hoping to spot bears, moose, or other wildlife, but no luck this time!

The ride itself was worth it though—the scenery was breathtaking, and ending at the glacier made the day even better. 🏔️

Wrangell definitely has that small-town, authentic Alaska feel that I love. ❤️

Today we got off the ship for a few hours to explore Icy Strait Point! We took the green gondola over to the historic cannery area and spent some time walking around and enjoying the beautiful Alaska scenery.

Icy Strait Point is an easy port to explore right from the ship, even if you only have a few hours.

Today we took a tour around beautiful Haines, and what an incredible day! We were lucky enough to see a mama bear with FOUR cubs in the river catching salmon! 🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻🎣 Definitely one of those Alaska moments you never forget.

We also visited the beautiful glacier-fed Chilkoot Lake 💙🏔️ and spent some time exploring the small town of Haines.

Haines is such a beautiful, peaceful Alaska port with amazing scenery and wildlife. Another unforgettable day in Alaska! ❤️

Tonight we had dinner at Jacques, Oceania’s French specialty restaurant.

Jacques is one of the specialty restaurants included in your cruise fare, so there is no additional charge to dine here.

The restaurant has a beautiful French bistro feel, and the menu features classic French dishes with Oceania’s upscale touch. 🇫🇷

One thing I’ve really enjoyed about Oceania is getting to try all of the different specialty restaurants onboard.

Today we spent the day exploring Sitka!

We visited Fortress of the Bear, Sitka National Historical Park to see the beautiful totem poles, and the Alaska Raptor Center. Afterward, we had some time to walk around downtown Sitka and check out the shops.

Sitka is a great port for wildlife, Alaska history, and exploring on your own. It’s definitely a port I recommend getting out and seeing!

Today we went whale watching in Juneau! If whale watching is on your Alaska bucket list, this is the port to do it! 🐋

It was pouring rain, so I didn’t take many pictures. I put my phone away and just enjoyed the moment—and we saw several whales!

Sometimes you don’t need a hundred pictures. Just enjoy where you are and take it all in. ❤️

Today we are in Ketchikan while sailing on Oceania Riviera! We took a tour around the area and had such a great day.

Our stops included:
🐻 Herring Cove — and we saw a BLACK BEAR!
🗿 Totem poles
💦 Rainbow Falls
🐟 The salmon ladder

Seeing a black bear in the wild was definitely a highlight! Alaska never gets old, and I love being able to experience these tours myself so I can share firsthand recommendations with my clients.

📍 First Night on Oceania Riviera — Polo Grill

Our first night onboard Oceania Riviera and we had dinner at Polo Grill, their steakhouse that is included in your cruise fare! 🥩

We had:
🍤 Shrimp appetizer
🧅 French onion soup
🥗 Waldorf salad
🥩 Porterhouse steak
🦞 Lobster
🍰 Cheesecake with Baileys ice cream
🍷 And I enjoyed 2 glasses of Chianti!

Everything was delicious and a great way to start our cruise!
