We did just a little bit of the Chautauqua-Lake Erie Art Trail yesterday. Each and every stop was special in its own way with great people and good vibes. Truly a wonderful treasure in Chautauqua County…next event is Labor Day weekend. We can’t wait to make some more stops in another direction. The porch. The porch is the best part of The Village Inn. It’s nestled in the trees. It’s private. Yet…it’s also in the middle of a bustling little village. Its steps from Chautauqua Lake. The birds chirp. Squirrels run through the giant oak trees. There are old quilts for cozy nights. And an old wicker sofa long enough to lay down and take a break. The perfect place for morning coffee, a cold beer after a long day, or a great book. We have openings in June…a month of great porch weather on Chautauqua Lake.

May is an exciting time to visit Chautauqua Lake. Docks are going in. Boats are buzzing from land to sea. People are working late in the nicer weather to put it all together. Amish friends throw in a canoe to go fishing. Flowers are blooming. Trees are budding. The grass is super green. A great place to explore for a weekend. We have openings in May!!
