🚨 Ireland Date Change Alert! 🚨

Friends, I had a little oops moment with the calendar. Our Crafted Ireland Tour will now begin with departure from the U.S. on September 28, 2026.

Why the switch? Well… I miscalculated around the East Perry Community Fair — the Best Little Fair in the Land. And if you’ve been, you know that’s one event that simply can’t be skipped. Parades, Truck Pulls, and the world famous Mule Jump wait for no one. 😉

I truly apologize for the mix-up, but I’m hopeful this slight delay won’t throw a wrench in your plans. On the bright side: a few extra days of anticipation before we cross the pond! ✈️🍀

When paying with your card abroad, you’ll often be asked: Pay in U.S. dollars or the local currency? Always choose local currency (euros, pesos, etc.)! 💶💷

Why? Your credit card issuer will handle the conversion at the best exchange rate. If you pick U.S. dollars, the merchant sets the rate—which are always worse than the bank rate. 😬💰

A simple choice can save you money on every swipe! 💡✨

Before using Uber on your next vacation, note that they may add a 1.5% surcharge on rides outside of the US. But there is a way to avoid this:

Open the Uber App, go to "Account", then "Wallet". Scroll down to "Preferred currency" and select "No preferred currency. Always pay in the local currency of your ride".
