Main Street supports our business community.

Small businesses are the backbone of our communities, yet they face real challenges that range from rising costs and labor shortages, to competing for attention in an increasingly complicated marketplace.

Main Street America's recent small business survey results (link in bio) gives reasons for measured hope, yet Washington's small businesses are lagging behind national averages when it comes to confidence in their future success. The good news is that small businesses located in Main Street districts reported higher confidence scores than those not supported by a local Main Street organization.

A cornerstone of Langley Main Street Association is Economic Vitality, supporting small business through promotions, community events, beautification projects, holiday dazzle, and that special something that brings people back to shop, dine or stay awhile (or forever!).

Youth art at the Hub!

The Hub Gallery, in the heart of the Bayview Cash Store, offers a space for community members to share their art. From now until May 10, the gallery offers an insight into the youth of our community through Goosefoot's annual Art with a Message show. We're proud to work with our local schools to show off the skills of more than 40 Whidbey high school students.
