McDonald Observatory and community partners are hosting a series of fun and educational events that highlight the legendary dark skies of West Texas. Activities will take place not only at the Observatory, but also throughout Fort Davis (April 13–19), Alpine, Marfa, and Terlingua.

We wanted to share an important update with all our guests and travelers passing through Langtry. The Judge Roy Bean Visitor Center is currently under construction, and for the time being, the following areas are closed:
