The Ark Encounter continues to be one of our most popular trips and we had a full bus today traveling to Kentucky to see the recreation of Noah's Ark. Since it's opening in 2016, we have taken over 7,000 excited guests to see this breathtaking sight.

The original Ark was constructed over 4,300 years ago and was estimated to contain nearly 7,000 animals. The Ark Encounter is the largest timber frame structure in the world. Guests are able to enjoy a real zoo, dining, shopping, live animal exhibits, a carousel and an entertainment venue.

Our guests had a fascinating time on our recent Grissom & Glass tour this week. They were able to see first-hand how glass is turned into a piece of art. Everyone in our group received a special gift at the end of the tour from the nice folks at Kokomo Opalescent Glass Company. The delicious lunch was definitely "Pastarrific." Then off to Grissom Air Museum located on the Grissom Air Force Base for an exciting hands-on tour. Even our driver Derick was able to jump into the cockpit of a real air force jet!

Our sold out April Fool's Day Mystery Trip today was a big success and everyone enjoyed the delicious Amish cooking. We had an interesting tour of a historical covered bridge, followed by a gardening presentation at the Dutch Mill Greenhouse. Our guests also enjoyed a fun wine tasting at Dalton Union Winery.

It looks like our host Ann has some pretty big shoes to fill!

Our drivers get to see a lot of pretty neat things, and here is a picture of the Brooklyn Bridge at night taken by our senior driver Todd Harris.

Todd has spent the majority of March in New York City traveling with various schools. This is his 12th trip to NYC with American Heritage Trails and he has quickly become very knowledgeable of the city.
