BURANO, Italy. This colorful fisherman’s village makes for the perfect day trip from Venice. Combine it with the more well-known Murano, and you have yourself a nice peek into what lies just beyond the floating city.

Spring break trips are officially beginning, and my clients start their 12 day Italy vaca in Venice. I often include a Burano/Murano experience, where you adventure around outer Venice in a boat and stop at these two islands - they will explore the narrow alleyways of picturesque Burano, and view a glass making workshop in Murano.

FOUR SEASONS LANAI. If you’re looking for that special stay, that magical and captivating place - this is it.

The setting atop one of Hawaii’s most beautiful beaches, with its exquisite vegetation and florals, is stunning.

The room accommodations, restaurants, pools and hotel amenities are all superb.

There is so much to do! Lanai is a fascinating island with multiple ecosystems:
Beach, boating, snorkeling, whale watching
Golf and tennis
Hiking - we did an amazing sunrise hike
Horseback riding and farm animals at “the ranch”
Zip lining, clay shooting, archery
The hotel even has its own observatory

I love this photo taken in New Orleans years ago - captures the spirit and soul of this vibrant city. A city for all - all types, all ages, all walks of life. A city where everyone comes together.

I have a family with 4 kids going in February, and while they may be older than the kid here, New Orleans - surprising to many - is very family-friendly. I took my own kids, and plan other families’ trips here. From neighborhood exploring to a steamboat river cruise to Mard Gras world tours to the WW II museum, to taking the cable cars - there’s a ton to do with kids. My clients will be staying at the Four Seasons - perfect for families.

MALLORCA. Where the mountains meet the sea. Majestic landscape, hidden beaches, hiking in olive groves, swimming in the stunning blue aqua waters, picnic lunches, lemon tree fields, snorkeling, biking with views, catamaran rides, delicious food.

Back to school, back to work. The slight September crisp in the air always brings on the winter getaway bookings!

The newly opened Rosewood Mandarina, in Riviera Nayarit, offers a unique setting of beach, mountains and flatlands. The activities are endless - think surfing, horseback riding, mountain biking, zip lining and the more traditional tennis, pickle, golf - and its own polo field. So much to do!

Very private in its own gated community, this resort is amazing for both families and couples. As always, my Rosewood Preferred Partnership status gets my clients an elevated stay with extra benefits ⚡️

Switzerland stop 2 - Grindelwald. Up in the Bernese Alps, this idyllic mountain town is an amazing spot to both explore and adventure in the alps, and soak it all in.

Hiking, zip lining, toboggan riding, sledding, tubing and gondola riding were some of the activities we did in Gridelwald’s First and Jungfrau peaks. We took the train to gorgeous Lauterbrunnen for more exploring. Night time was equally fun with the town’s weekly street fair and dining with views.

SWITZERLAND round 1 - Lausanne.

Our Switzerland trip was comprised of 3 destinations - Lausanne, on Lake Geneva; Grindelwald in the Bernese Alps; and Lake Lucerne. We explored via rail, boat, gondola, tram, cogwheel train, and car. Switzerland is beautiful and adventurous, and adventurers we were.

In Lausanne we stayed at the lovely Beau Rivage Palace, and from there we took a boat ride around Lake Geneva, walked from Chillon Castle to Montreux, drove through the exquisite vineyards of Lavaux, toured a chocolate factory, and relaxed in the Ouchy Lake District of Lausanne. Where the mountains meet the sea, this part of Switzerland is a feast for the eyes - but then again, so is all of this stunning country 🇨🇭 💙.
