It’s almost the end of peach season. Texas peaches are a sweet and delectable fruit that’s ripe for the picking. Peaches are grown all throughout Texas and can be used for some mighty tasty treats from peach ice cream to peach-ginger chicken.

There are many roadside fruits stands and farmers markets to choose from with many delicious peach varieties.

April is work zone safety awareness month. We encourage you to watch out for road crews, workers, and heavy equipment that may be only a few feet away from passing vehicles. The key message is for drivers to use extra caution in work zones as many times protective gear on crew members is limited to a vest, hard hat, and safety boots.
