At the airport, having just wrapped up my first Virtuoso Week Conference. This post isn’t so much for my fellow travel advisors and preferred travel partners, although I love you all! This post is for the person out there who is thinking about making a change, or trying something new. This is your sign to do it. Take that first step or that big leap. No matter how scared you are, no matter how much fear you feel. Because this was me, less than a year ago, and now, look how far I have come. Even though I have always loved and been obsessed with all things travel, pursuing a career in it is an entirely different endeavor. This past year has been a crash course in learning about the travel industry and running a small business. Don’t get me wrong. I am still a bit scared, and still have so much to learn. But I am so grateful that I took a chance on myself because I was tired about dreaming of a career in travel. I wanted to be pursuing a career in travel. And now I have just finished a week of networking and learning and making new connections at one of the biggest travel conferences in the world. If I can do it, so can you. So stop waiting and stop making excuses. Just take that first step and put your thoughts and words into action. If you start today, I promise you that a year from now, your future self will be so thankful and grateful you did. And I’ll be proud of you too. ☺️

Summer activities unlocked 🏹🪓🏌️‍♀️👙🌳🔥🍰🍷🍽️🏨

I knew I would have fun at in the Allegheny mountains of Pennsylvania but I had no idea it would get me reminiscing about summer camp!

This is the kind of place where you can do as much, or as little as you want. Of course I tried all the activities - archery, axe throwing, golfing, (they have the #1 course in Pennsylvania), spa-ing (is that a verb? If not, it should be!), hiking, bonfiring, (I’m just making up words at this point), indulging in dessert, enjoying a lovely wine pairing dinner and taking a history tour to learn more about the hotel and the town. There’s even more things to do - for kids and adults - that I didn’t have a chance to try.

This is the kind of hotel where after you come once, you want to come back, again and again. It’s only a 2 hour drive from DC, Baltimore, and Philly, and just under 5 hours from NYC.

If you’re summer plans aren’t sorted yet, I have the answer, The Omni Bedford Springs. Or even better, come in the fall when the town of Bedford hosts a weeklong fall foliage festival.🍁And if you book with me. I’ll make sure you get extra perks and treated like the VIP that you are.

So, who is ready for vacation? 🖐️🖐️🖐️

My toxic trait: stopping at every lighthouse in Maine.
✨🙃✨
Have you ever explored coastal Maine? Summer is the perfect time to do it. And I promise, you’ll get to see lots of lighthouses, and eat lots of lobster. But that’s just scratching the surface of everything there is to see and do in this incredible State. Even better, a brand new, boutique hotel, just opened in Portland, Maine. I’ve already booked clients there and can’t wait to check in myself.

What are you waiting for? DM me to get started with planning an incredible summer road trip through coastal Maine!

It's been a minute since I've posted to my blog, but I'm back!

In my latest post, I write about something I did even though I was petrified, and how it helped me shift my perspective on conquering my other fears.

Head to my blog to read the full story, and as always, thanks for your support! I write these posts to share my experience in the hopes that they resonate with you, and might help you too. So drop a comment below if you have your own story about conquering one of your fears. I'd love to hear it!

My husband and I just got back from an amazing Southwest road trip mostly through Arizona and a bit of Utah, and, just WOW!

For those interested or considering a similar trip, our itinerary was Sedona, Grand Canyon, Page, Arizona where we checked out Horseshoe Bend, Lower and Upper Antelope Canyon, plus kayaking on Lake Powell. We also made a day trip to Moniment Valley before heading to Zion National Park in Utah.

Everything was a highlight for us! And traveling in early May was great in terms of the weather (not too hot) and the crowds were very manageable. This trip has gotten us excited to do so much more exploring out west!

If you have any specific questions, please ask away in the comments below or DM me! Happy to help anyone who’s planning a similar trip.
